About HUTV
Harvard Undergraduate Television (HUTV) is the centralizing hub that streamlines the way Harvard students produce, showcase, and engage with new media. We like to think of ourselves as Harvard’s only media network and media-minded community– and rightly so! Building on the legacy of 15-year-old Harvard Radcliffe Television (HRTV), HUTV embraces the promises and opportunities of an ever more connected world. HUTV’s website acts as a platform centralizing all Harvard-related online video in one place for the world to see and share. Whether you are looking for videos produced by HUTV’s own independent shows, by other student organizations, or just by creative procrastinators, this is the place to be!
But providing visibility to an entire campus for free is not the only thing we are about. Indeed, HUTV is the network for media-minded students:
- Showcasing, distributing and marketing student-produced content
- Supporting and training students as they produce new media
- Facilitating accessibility to equipment and other resources for the student community
- Providing a resourceful link between the professional media world and the student community.
Passionate and enthusiastic about everything film or television related? Us too! And we hope that you will consider joining us in our endeavors to provide high-quality entertainment to students, develop career opportunities in the media industry, and have a good time pursing a meaningful extracurricular.
Enjoy,
–The HUTV Board
